  • Well hello to all my new (and of course already established) followers! I’m so happy to see you here, getting yourself some feminine vintage style knitting inspiration!

In case you still don’t know me, I’d love to introduce myself. My name is Heidi, and I’m a knitwear designer based in Florence, Italy. Here are 3 random facts you maybe did not know about me:

#1 I love cappuccino. But over the last yeat I’ve moved from drinking cappuccino with milk and espresso to oat milk and orzo (barley). I used to dring up to 5-6 cups od cappuccino, often witv double shot of espresso. Cutting down the coffee has made me less tired and I’m able to start the day without coffee. I might drink max one portion of coffee a fay, but it’s not daily anymore. And I did not need to give up cappuccino which is great!

#2 My favourite color is pink. So if you see a lot of pink colored knits in this account, now you know why.

#3 I started my blog www.knitwithheidi.com spring 2020 when my cat Taneli got sick and I needed to get money for his vet fees. So I started to sell my knitwear designs. Unfortunately Taneli could not be cured, but I remember him every time I write new patterns and do knitting videos. Now I do my patterns and posts for fun, to bring joy and inspiration to you and for me.

Now is your turn! Please share something about you that others may not yet know but you’d like them to know about you?
